ABOUT
HAMILTON ZACHARY consists of Derek Taylor and Zac Bryson. Together they share a passion for all things woodworking and design / build related. They bring a combined effort of over 30 years of experience in their industry. Formally trained and having apprenticed under fellow master makers, they are able to produce truly artfully made and masterfully crafted projects. They are craftsmen, artists, makers and collaborators.
Their work specializes in bespoke fine furniture, cabinetry & millwork, and large scale design / build installations. Providing a one-of-a-kind experience, service, and finished product. They work closely with respective homeowners, contractors, architects, designers, other fabricators and engineers.
OUR PROCESS
Our process typically begins with a design intent or concept. Whether working with a client or for our own designs, we refine these ideas and concepts until we can produce working shop drawings.
Materials are always carefully hand selected, using only the highest quality available. Oftentimes we work with local/regional sawyers who operate small mills, to acquire some of the most unique and precious raw material not commonly found from commercial vendors and lumber yards.
Every piece is handcrafted by the two of us. We use a combination of precision machinery and time tested hand tool techniques. We are not a factory that manufactures, we are a custom studio workshop of our own where each piece is made by us. This is a process that takes time, dedication, attention to detail, and skill. Our pieces are not disposables or consumables. They are built to stand the test of time where our focus is on the highest quality not mass quantity.
Clients are welcome to come by our workshop to see progress on their projects.
Once projects are completed, we work closely to arrange for installation, delivery, shipping, or other logistical needs.
